Home Assistant Backup is a private utility used by the site owner to store and manage personal Home Assistant backup files in Google Drive.
The application accesses Google Drive only to create, read, update and delete backup files as instructed by the owner of the Google account.
Google user data is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used for analytics. Access credentials and backup configuration are kept privately by the application owner.
Backup files are retained according to the owner's backup retention policy and may be deleted when older backups are no longer required.
Access can be revoked at any time from the security settings of the associated Google account.
